ModNation Racers + How to get your beta code

Now for a mod indepth explanation into what MNR is and the way it works. It is you normal everyday weapon shooting kart racing game, but with a twist, and a pretty awesome one and that.

Create a Mod and Kart

From what I have worked out, the racers are called "Mods". The way you make them is similar to the way you edit a sackboy. You get a HUGE list of stickers, hairs, textures and much more, and you basically select what you want and put it where you want. Then once you have got your mod just how you want, you can share and race with it. As for customizing your kart, I haven't really see much of that, but from all the karts I have seen, there is a heck of a lot you can do.

Create a Track

The track editor for ModNation Racers is so epic and detailed, yet so simple. You start off on a blank map, then to create your road you basically just drive and the read gets created behind you. You can go up and down, left and right (of cause) and if you really wanted to you can go back over it and edit each part of the road to get it just how you want it. You can pinch parts of the road to make it wider, add objects and weapon pick ups. There really is no limit to what you can do. I could go on and talk about this for ever, but if you haven't seen the e3 videos or any others, go watch them now.

Get your ModNationRacers Beta!

Well, you can try your luck on getting a go at playing the beta by visiting the ModNation Racers website and signing up for a chance to win a beta code. Also from what I've seen, if you buy the GOTY edition of LBP you get a code too. So good luck guys, and I will (Sooner or later) see you on the track ;)

It looks like a fun little racer. And from what I know, the PS Blog will also be giving out beta codes.
