http://i42.tinypic.com/241qrux.jpg Well, it's been a while I haven't came here to AllisBrawl and AllisFighter. But, if anyone near Bellville, NJ wants an early copy of Super Street Fighter IV, they're selling it. Although, I didn't really checked to see if they had the 360 version since I was so excited on seeing a copy for the PS3 there, so I went and bought it.

http://omg.yahoo.com/news/taco-bell-chihuahua-dies-at-15/25534?nc The Taco Bell Chihuahua dies at the age of 15. Well, at least she lived a good life and I still remember those old Taco Bell commercials.

Although, I still think that Gold, Silver, and Crystal are overhyped games. But, don't get me wrong. I did enjoyed the new features such as the day and night feature with real time, Pokemon having genders and being able to breed them, Dark and Steel types were introduced, Shiny Pokemon, and even some events that would let you get specific Pokemon during a certain time or event that happens in other places.
For the actual Johto region itself, I couldn't really bring myself to like it. I didn't really enjoyed most of the gym leaders or the towns. I didn't really like how the towns weren't as interesting as the other towns you would see later in R/S/E and D/P/P except for a few places. For the 2nd generation Pokemon, I didn't like either because most of the newer ones weren't as strong or great, although I do like some like Scizor, Tyranitar, Slowking, and some.
I think if it weren't for being able to go to the Kanto region, I don't think the Johto region by itself wouldn't have been as hyped as it is now.
I will still get the game although, things I do hope that they bring for the remake is being able to explore a lot of the Kanto region fully. Remember how Mt. Moon and Viridian Forest were much smaller than they were in R/B/Y? And also Kanto's Safari Zone was closed when you got there. I do hope they do add them there and maybe have access to some more new areas like they did in Fire Red and Leaf Green. I probably will pick up Soul Silver since I did picked up Silver when it came out on the GBC.

Tomorrow the last day of class and part 2 of 2 for my final exam. So far, I already passed all tests, turned in most homework assignments, and most likely passed the first part of the reading finals. Today, I was going to start my homework but, now after being bummed out for putting all my focus on my math finals, I just can't bring myself to finish up my reading homework. I don't think it's really that major of a homework assignment so should I just forget about it then?

Along with many others that pre-ordered the SFIV fight sticks (got the standard even though many won't recommend it due to some parts in it having a short life span but, I can always mod it incase it ever happens right?), I finally got it a couple weeks ago. After struggling in college, I now finally have the chance to give this for a test run. All day today, I just spent time in SFIV's Challenge mode to get used to using the fight stick in games like Street Fighter.
I was finally able to finish off some of the characters' normal trial challenges like Ryu's and Zangief's. When I was trying to pull off the combos on controller, there was no way that I was going to be able to finish up these challenges. Now I can pull these combos off with the right button layout but, still practicing on the timing to link up combos.
Tomorrow, I guess I will still keep on practicing getting used to using the fightstick and eventually play a few online games to see how I perform using it. Also, I played with the standard stick with the recent MvC2 and I can pull off moves fine in the game, (although I did wish there could of been a training mode or some single player mode available in the PSN demo).

These are my first impressions.
The DSi feels incredibly smooth once you take it out of the box. The buttons and control pad kind of feels the way the GBA SP was like, hopefully the shoulder buttons lasts a long time. DS Lite had some problems with the L or R buttons if you keep pressing it a lot in games like Star Fox Command and then just stops working. Another improvement is how the power button works and how it's placed, no longer you have to worry about accidently turning off your DS. You have to hold the power button for a while to turn off and while you are playing a game or using any DSi channel, pressing the power button will take you back to the DSi menu instantly. Games look a bit better and sound quality is much better than the DS Lite and DS Phat.
The camera works alright. I noticed so far while playing Wario Ware Snapped! my movements are a bit blurry probably due to the lighting in my room. I also kind of like the cool little things like tapping an area for a different color in photos and making funny faces. Recording sound is also good and then change it to different speed, you can do the same with music. You can save stuff on the system or either an SD card.
DSi's Shop Channel music is better than Wii's Shop Channel music. Also, you get a free 1000 points once you link your Club Nintendo account and you can link up the same account on 8 different DSi systems. Also, if you do link up the same account on another DSi system, points does not merge with the points you had on the other DSi. I also like the cool Super Mario Advance animation while downloading games or Channels. Wario Ware Snapped is fun but, extremely short. Birds & Beans is a game where you keep eating falling beans to get a high score. I would recommend downloading these titles. Also, the internet channel works much faster than the old DS browsers.
I would recommend on buying a DSi, especially if you feel that you need to replace you're old DS systems. If not, then you're good until they start making DSi exclusive games.
*Edit*
I forgot to mention about the cost of the DSi Shop Channel games for this week.

Well, it's time for the DS Lite to join in my band of other unused consoles and handhelds. Tomrrow I will be getting the DSi (black). The DS Lite was a great system, I really did enjoyed playing DS and GBA games with better lighting. Although, it did had some faults like L or R button not working and trying to do SSMTs in Mario Kart DS on the Lite was hard. But, still it provided me a ton of fun throughout the years.
